Michigan Math and Science Academy Dequindre
Welcome to MMSAD! We are a public charter school that serves over 550 students in grades PreK-12. Since opening our doors in 2009, MMSAD has provided a world-class education centered around science, technology, engineering and math to prepare students for life after high school. No matter where your child is at in their educational journey, MMSAD is here to support them.
Our Mission
At MMSAD, our mission is simple: we prepare our students for higher education and beyond by creating an effective learning environment with high standards and expectations. Our college-preparatory, STEM-focused curriculum ensures our students are equipped with the skills necessary for future success.

Concept Model
MMSAD is managed by Concept Schools, an award-winning charter management organization that assists over 35 schools across the Midwest. Since 1999, Concept has built a reputation for providing a wide array of services for its network of schools, including its STEM-focused curricula that has put students in a position to succeed after they graduate high school. It has been around almost as long as the charter school movement and has been a great partner in helping MMSAD get to the point it is at today.
